Broken Hearts Are Blue release re-mastered cassette of debut album

Poptek has joined Sweet Cheetah Records to release a cassette of emo elders Broken Hearts Are Blue's re-mastered debut "The Truth About Love". While originally based in Michigan when in 1997 the band debuted amongst the second wave of emo along with Braid, The Promise Ring, and Mineral, the band got back together for new music in 2018. The re-mastered cassette is available for now from the Poptek Shop. The songs were re-mastered in December 2023 by Matt Lynch at Mysterious Mammal Recording from the original Caulfield Records digital audio tape.
